Lilburn Smith's catch of the day...Trout from the recently stocked Holland Lake
|
The City of Weatherford Parks and Recreation Department is creating a destination that EVERYONE can enjoy..."Just a thank you note for the trout stocking at Holland Lake Park. I fished at Holland Lake this morning and caught 3 of the 300 Trout recently stocked...only 297 to go! All too often people think of the parks in terms of a playground for children; we old coots need recreation facilities too and in my opinion, you have provided just that. Your organization did everything right in terms of the size of the trout and the number stocked. Best regards, Lilburn Smith"
